Can we assume this was an error George H. discovered after striking
so few sets and then corrected the reverse die?

A note in Dewitt says "Another satirical piece made for Isaac F. Wood".
He does not attribute it to George H. but since he did much of Wood's
work, including the satirical Tilden pieces, I am going to assume
this is his work also. And I would also assume he included it under
Tilden since Dana was editor of the Sun at the time which was a
supporter of Tilden's candidacy.
